The Welfare Councillor of the Lombardy Region, Guido Bertolaso, stated during a conference held at Palazzo Lombardia: “The demographic winter will make the Italian race disappear”.
“The demographic winter will make the Italic race disappear”. This was specified by the Welfare Councillor of the Lombardy Region Guido Bertolaso during the conference held at Palazzo Lombardia on “Child nutrition and social dimension: the politics of doing”.
In his speech he was keen to specify: “The demographic winter is dramatic and does not help us, indeed it risks making the Italian race disappear. This is what our experts tell us. And the low birth rate is the first problem that must be faced in Italy. Today in this Region we must face the bad habits that are spreadingo. I call for a lifestyle that is much more consistent with scientific knowledge and new discoveries. It is well established that virtuous lifestyles lead to a longer life and the absence of chronic conditions”.
Among the first to comment on the councilor’s words was the group leader of the 5 Star Movement Nicholas DiMarco: “Even today this Council gives us rare pearls, with words that resonate full of nostalgia. In Bertolaso’s vocabulary there are expressions like ‘razza italica’: he reels them off in front of the press microphones as if it were a normal, obvious thing, demonstrating instead a gigantic institutional ignorance. This umpteenth case involving the councilor is unacceptable”.

And then the councilor adds: “Perhaps he wants to mend the internal fractures of the Council of which he is a part by winking at the Lollobrigidian theories of Fratelli d’Italia? The Welfare Councilor should distance himself and start dealing with the problems of Lombardy’s health system because up to now, apart from words and press conferences, he has done nothing while the Lombards are abandoned to themselves”.
