Aprilia has completed its team for the next two years: after Jorge Martin’s announcement after the Mugello GP, today the arrival of Marco Bezzecchi alongside the Spaniard in the official Noale team was made official. The press release states that a multi-year contract has been signed.

Aprilia was looking for an Italian rider for the first team. It had already happened in MotoGP with Andrea Iannone in 2019 and in 2021 with Lorenzo Savadori, who then left his place to Maverick Vinales at the end of the season.

Bezzecchi thus leaves the VR46 ‘nest’, with which he trained in the premier class, to join an official team, as Marini did last year with Honda. The difference is that Marco will find a very competitive bike and a new adventure to relaunch himself after a certainly not exciting start to 2024.

Massino RivolaCEO of Aprilia Racing, thus played all his cards and greeted the new arrival: “we welcome one of the best Italian talents, who has demonstrated his worth since his debut in the minor categories and, especially last year in MotoGP, with excellent performances and even victories in the breakaway. We can’t wait to embrace the Bez in Noale too; the combination of Italian motorcycle and Italian rider is very fascinating, but even more so is the pair of riders that will form with Jorge. We are really satisfied with our line up for 2025, Martín and Bezzecchi represented our first choice for age, talent, grit and determination and with them we can write a new and important page of Aprilia Racing”.
