For example, in the case of two wheels, it seems that more than ever, crossovers are gathering support and more and more public, which is why the various companies are committed to designing interesting ones in terms of features and design.
In the case of the bike we are talking about today, the information is still quite generic as it is being perfected. Nonetheless, the news circulated so far guarantees a highly competitive model for the final price and the aesthetic proposal. This is the crossover that the Brixton brand is creating, with an English heart but Chinese ownership.
The company recently presented a patent to the competent offices, so it was possible to obtain previews of the crossover, which promises a vintage style combined with a 1200 twin-cylinder engine, which is why a large displacement model is expected. In line with other two-wheelers, the engine should be a Cromwell X 1200 and the realization will take place using the platform of Gaokin GK 1200.

The Cromwell parallel twin cylinder with four valves with bore and stroke measurements of 98.6 x 80 mm. Therefore the displacement reaches 1222 effective cm³. The distribution is with a single overhead camshaft while the fuel supply takes place through an injection system with double throttle bodies Dellorto. The declared power at the moment is 82 HP at 6500 rpm with a torque of 79 Nm at 3100 rpm.
Presented in this way it would be an accessible, mid-range motorcycle for every type of user. Probably Brixton think of an increase in torque, but the chassis still needs to be reviewed, as it is almost in the embryonic stage of its development. In the patent drawings, in fact, appear a closed double cradle frame in tubes, an upside down fork and a rear suspension with two shock absorbers. Retro lines are foreseen in the design, which suggest a vintage style, which the brand pursues as a trait distinctive. Around next winter it will be possible glimpse more, but the wait is already sky high.
