On Thursday we return to the track at the “G.Servadei” velodrome with the “Michael Antonelli” memorial, valid as the third round of the 2024 Superpistard Trophy. During the second round on Thursday 30 May, forcibly interrupted before the end due to pouring rain, no points were awarded, therefore the rankings remained unchanged. The leaders are therefore ready to return to the scene, more energized than before, to defend the championship jerseys they have won.
As always, the program includes tests for the Beginners, Students and Juniors categories. It starts at 3pm with the female students, engaged in the first test of the Omnium, the 10-lap Tempo Race. Follow all the other tests. The awards ceremony is scheduled for around 8.25pm-8.55pm. Among the rookies in the yellow jersey is Leonardo Manfredi (SC Cavriago), while in the cyclamen jersey Teodora Castelli (Calderara Stm Riduttori).
As for the Students, Matteo Ghirelli (Polisportiva Fiumicinese Fa. IT Adriatica) wears the orange shirt, while Alessia Orsi (Calderara Stm Riduttori) wears the pink one. In the Junior category the leader is Florian Zambianchi (Travel & Service Cycling Team) who wears the green jersey. Entrance to the velodrome is, as always, free, free and open to all.
