Train to improve in everything. “This season was my second season as a professional, having started my career at an older age than others. The previous year I was in Cyprus and playing in Italy was a big leap, in terms of level of competition and everything. I wanted to come and train here in Treviso to show the staff that I want to work hard, but also to have the opportunity to work with the coaches and strengthen the harmony, so that, when we really get serious, everything can go more smoothly. .”
In which aspects does Paulicap most want to improve? “I certainly want to expand my offensive game, but also improve my defense and free throw shooting. In summary, be active in the offensive phase as well as in the defensive phase. And then last season there were several situations where I had foul problems: this had an impact not only on me, but on the whole team. So I’m working on ways to stay in control and stay out of trouble.”
Paulicap happy with the choice to stay in Treviso for another season. “I continually say this to my family at home: the Treviso community is my Italian family. I love it. The fans are fantastic: they always follow us. Whether it’s a home or away game, you always see a blue-white mass. It reminds me a little of college in terms of how much the fans support the team. I think this is the best part of the matches, besides the victory, obviously (laughs, ed.). So yeah, I’m definitely happy to be here.”
