“Consummated Love” is the artist’s new single MonnaElisa: iThe song, the first of the new project by the artist from Forlì supported by the Siae “Per Chi Crea” call, is accompanied by a video on YouTube. The song, selected among the 49 finalists of Sanremo Giovani 2023, was written by the artist from Forlì, aka Elisa Malpezzitogether with Andrea Marelli and Matteo Giannaccini Gravante who also took care of the arrangement.
“Amore consumato” already describes itself from the title. It is a song that speaks of a dysfunctional love and the search for that something that truly makes you live and that is the engine of a positive feeling. MonnaElisa wanted to give voice to the many women who continue to bleed in the body, in the heart, or in the mind because of an undefined and consumed love, of which they cannot explain why they need it so much.
BIOGRAPHY
Elisa Malpezzi was born on April 25, 2003 in the city of Forlì. Since she was a child she has studied guitar with masters of the caliber of Max Roccaforte (Carmen Consoli’s guitarist). For her, neither dolls nor swings as childhood companions, but guitars, colourful, full of stickers as if to remember every experience, every musical stage, every hand held from then on. She’s a little singer-songwriter, a little rocker and a little nostalgic, definitely a sweet rebel. She sings songs where we talk about many things, ranging from the love that everyone tells us, to get to more introspective themes, also touching on social issues.
At the beginning of spring 2022 she takes part in the Long Train Running project for which she plays around some European capitals on a train with other artists from all over Italy. Upon her return she signs a management contract with Andrea Marelli for Music Room. In 2022 she faces a first mini acoustic tour between Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and Lazio, participates in Area Sanremo and wins the competition itself. In that context she meets the record producer Gianni Testa, Joseba Label, and signs her first record deal. In 2023 important collaborations arrive at the level of musical production: the singles Caffè and Gaia are released (the latter winner of Area Sanremo). In February 2023 she plays for Rai on the Suzuki stage in Piazza Colombo in Sanremo during the final of the Festival. In May 2023 the summer tour begins: more than 20 dates that take her all over Italy, from Valle d’Aosta to Basilicata. She was also chosen by the Sanremo Symphony Orchestra to pay homage to Vittorio De Scalzi with a concert at the Franco Alfano theater in Sanremo where she played with the New Trolls and the entire Symphony Orchestra. In August 2023 she also began to collaborate with the producer Lapolla Cristian, tried to enter Amici and will be part of it with a challenge. She collected more than 50 interviews on national radio, she was a guest on stages such as the MEI 2023 Palco Centrale. She had the honor of closing the summer events for the City of Forlì as emerging artist of the year with a mega concert, she opened the VitignanoStock Festival, played at Montecitorio for Fiaba Day (national day for the removal of architectural barriers) and enchanted the audience with a minimal live in the prestigious Pieve di Romena by will of Luigi Verdi. The only musical artist on the stage of Tedx Forlì at the gates of 2024 at the Diego Fabbri Theater where she enchanted the audience by reinterpreting Dalla. Participate in the live phases of Musicultura 2024 in Macerata accompanied by an all-female String Quartet. A unique musical style, always different, at ease in acoustic as in electronic, both indie and pop, rock but also delicate, certainly modern, current, above all original.
