The sun is shining and it is very hot on the second stage of the Tour de France, which started a short while ago from Cesenatico and is heading towards Bologna: the riders are pedalling under the sun at +32°C in the heart of Romagna, passing through Ravenna, before deviating towards Faenza and the Apennines. There are in Bologna +31°C and the temperature will increase in the afternoon: the arrival is expected after 5.00 pm, even today like yesterday the pace is very slow (yesterday the arrival in Rimini was even after 5.50 pm!) precisely because of the great heat.
Confirmations on the bad weather of the next two stages: tomorrow in Piedmont for the Piacenza-Turinand especially the day after tomorrow on Galibier in the first Alpine stage that will start from Pinerolo and it will pass by Sestriere.
