closures and alternative routes

On the A4 Milan – Brescia, to allow works to widen the fourth dynamic lane, the section between Sesto San Giovanni and Cormano, towards Turin, will be closed at night.

Autostrade per l’Italia reports this, specifying the days and times of the closures and the alternative routes.

Days and times of the closed route

The Sesto San Giovanni Cormano section will remain closed:

• on the two nights of Wednesday 3 July and Thursday 4 July, from 9pm to 5am
• from 10pm on Friday 5th July to 6am on Saturday 6th July.

The alternative routes

Autostrade per l’Italia recommends the following alternative routes to motorists:

• After the mandatory exit at the Sesto San Giovanni junction, take the SS36 towards Lecco, the A52 Tangenziale Nord di Milano towards Rho/A50 Tangenziale Ovest, enter the SP35 Milano Meda and rejoin the A4 via the Cormano junction.
• At the same time, the entrance to the Sesto San Giovanni junction will be closed in both directions, Turin and Brescia. Alternatively we recommend using the following entries:
• towards Turin: Milan Viale Certosa or Cormano
• towards Brescia: Monza.

On the same nights, but one hour before the closures of the section, the “Lambro nord” service area will be closed.
