Last night was a party night for the City of Anzio which paid homage to its Patron Saint, with the traditional procession on land and sea. Many citizens crowded the city center to pray.
Leading the procession, with the tricolor sash, the Commissioner of Anzio Antonio Scolamiero, followed by the commissioners Anatriello and Tarricone, the Commissioner of Nettuno, Antonio Reppucci, and also with the sash the Commissioner Tommaso Niglio, in the front row the President of the regional council Antonello Aurigemma and the civil and military authorities, the Captain of the Carabinieri Alessandro De Palma, the Commander of the Local Police of Anzio Antonio Arancio, the delegates of the Guardia di Finanza and the Port Authority of Anzio who supervised the exit to the sea. After the procession through the streets of the center, guarded by the security cordon of the local police, the landing at the port for the traditional sea tour and the blessing of the city.
This evening, dSunday 30 June, at 9pm, in Piazza Garibaldi, citizens and tourists will be entertained by the show “Max Giusti Show”free admission and until all seats are taken, waiting for the fireworks display, scheduled for 11.30pm.
