Fifteen-year-old Lucia Rizzi, who disappeared on Sunday afternoon, was found a short while ago. From the initial information, which is subject to maximum confidentiality, the girl is in good condition and is now in a protected place. The discovery of the young woman puts an end to days of apprehension for the family and the community of Barletta. Lucia disappeared on the afternoon of Sunday 23 June and, according to an initial reconstruction, her disappearance seemed to be voluntary. The girl had not returned home at 11 pm, as expected, and the search had begun since then.

24 hours after the disappearance, the mother launched an appeal on Facebook, attaching photos of her daughter to facilitate recognition and specifying that Lucia had been seen in the company of a boy she was seeing. The Barletta-Andria-Trani Prefecture had activated the provincial plan for the search for missing persons, with the entire community mobilizing to provide any useful information.
