And Monday 1st Julythe collection of the undifferentiated fraction of waste with the “new” blue bag equipped with r-fid tags will be active throughout the municipal area of Busto.

«After now 6 months of “running in”, with the progressive introduction in the various neighborhoods of the new tagged bag associated with each user (TARI holder) and a transitory tolerance aimed at allowing citizens to gradually get used to the new operating mode, we have reached the point where the application of the complete modalities is necessaryand planned from the beginning, of carrying out the “punctual collection” of waste”, states the note from Agesp.

From July 1stso, the disposal of undifferentiated waste as part of “door-to-door” collection (for both domestic and non-domestic users) it will have to be carried out only with the tagged blue bags and the collection frequency will become fortnightlyas indicated in the 2024 collection calendars distributed at the beginning of the year.

“From next year – continues the communication from the Busto Arsizio company – a “summer” plan has already been planned to restore the weekly frequency of dry waste collection in the most delicate months – June, July, August – an action that cannot be introduced this year as it is essential to proceed with at least 6 months of “punctual measurement” of the undifferentiated fraction associated with each user in order to then correctly perform the calculations necessary for the introduction of the Punctual Tariff, which, as is known, is calculated in part based on the actual production of waste conferred by the user and which, in our municipality, will be introduced from 1 January 2025″.

From 1 July 2024, therefore, purple bags will no longer be collected, as will non-compliant blue bags (not provided by AGESP and therefore not tagged, filled incorrectly, etc.): in this case, a red sticker which will indicate the irregularity and the instructions to follow for the correct packaging of the bag.

In order to prevent the continuation of any irregular situations that may arise, targeted checks will be carried out and, if necessary, recourse will be made to sanctions by the competent authority.

At the same time, again from 1 July, to positively respond to citizens’ requests for the management of the specific situations explained below, Domestic users will be given the opportunity to deliver their tagged blue bags containing cat litter / pet excrement or female sanitary pads directly to the Multicollection Center in via Tosiso that they can be assigned without a predefined frequency but according to their needs.

«Finally, we would like to draw attention to the fact that, in this period of transition, characterized by several public meetings, information campaigns, clarifications and activities aimed at making the acceptance of the novelty as smooth as possible, we started with situations of great concern, and sometimes even tension, on the part of citizens, and then gradually tended to the current condition, which sees, despite not lacking episodes of non-compliance with the rules, the substantial correct behavior of users, and indeed, in numerous circumstances, it has been pointed out to us how “by properly sorting your waste, you will eventually struggle to fill the blue bag every two weeks”.

The company wishes, in fact, thank all citizens for their collaboration with which they contributed to the success of this first phase of introducing punctual collection, with the awareness that the commitment required, in some cases from an operational/logistical point of view and in others of partial remodulation of one’s habits, is not always was negligible.

Anticipating that in these two weeks which will lead us to the date in question, it will be our responsibility to once again remind citizens of the important date of “July 1st” also through other channels (posts on social media, website, articles in the press, posts on the channels of ‘municipal administration, etc.), we remind you that those who have not yet collected their supply of blue bags can do so by going to the vending machines located in the city or at the AGESP Environmental Hygiene Customer Desk in via Canale 26 (from Monday to Friday 8.00 -2.00pm / Saturday 8.00am-12.00pm / holidays excluded).

In both cases, to be associated with the user, the CRS (Regional Service Card) of the TARI holder is required.

For any informationspecifying to citizens not to contact unofficial social channels and groups, we remind you that the following AGESP channels are available to users: • Environmental Hygiene Customer Service: toll-free number 800.439.040 • E-mail address: ordini.ambientale@ agesp.it”.
