Giovanni Manna continues to press Romelu Lukaku for Napoli’s attack. However, the blue DS must wait for a situation to be resolved.

These are very hot weeks for the market Napoli. Although the session has not yet officially started, the Azzurri are working on several fronts to strengthen themselves as soon as possible.

Sporting Director Giovanni Manna continues to press Lukaku constantly, who has been identified as the main target for the attack. To land the blow, it will be necessary to wait for a certain situation to be unblocked.

Napoli, Manna continues to press Lukaku: the latest

Napoli continues its work on the transfer market, with DS Manna active on several fronts. One of the departments that Napoli will intervene on is the offensive one. There are several names identified for the attack, including Romelu Lukaku. The arrival of the Belgian striker currently playing for Chelsea at Napoli is however blocked by a situation. “Napoli think they have done their utmost to have a priority lane for Lukaku. Manna was already pushing to bring Lukaku to Juve last year in the exchange with Vlahovic, and therefore the Napoli sporting director likes the Belgian striker. However, Napoli must wait for the Osimhen situation to be resolved. Milan also continues to monitor Lukaku’s situation. Chelsea would no longer want to loan him, but would like to find a permanent solution. The Blues are asking for the 44 million release clause. As time goes by, the English club will have to lower their demands, but it will probably take a few weeks.”

Therefore the priority for Napoli’s attack identified by Manna is Lukaku, who is therefore firmly at the top of the DS’s list of favourites. Unfortunately, however, the situation of Victor Osimhen is blocking Napoli’s incoming operations. In fact, Napoli cannot complete the Lukaku coup if they don’t place Osimhen first. We will therefore need to be calm and patient, and wait for some club to buy Osimhen.

In the meantime the Milan continues to follow Lukaku, but Napoli is currently ahead. The Azzurri can also boast the player’s excellent relationship with Conte, who already coached him at Inter. The stumbling block remains the negotiation with Chelsea, who continues to ask for the payment of the release clause to sell Lukaku. In fact, after the considerable financial outlay, the Blues do not want to loan the Belgian again, but rather collect a considerable sum. As the weeks go by, Chelsea will inevitably have to lower their demands, and at that point the deal could be closed. So Manna continues to work for Lukaku, waiting to place Victor Osimhen over the next few weeks.
