La Spezia, 1 July 2024 – The night of blood and blows has ended after 8 years in Court in Spezia. Nine convictions and two acquittals: this is the verdict pronounced by judge Marinella Acerbi which put an end to a bad episode which involved at least 11 people busy beating each other up in front of a city nightclub. The night in November 5, 2016 outside the Papilio On Via del Canaletto two opposing factions faced each other and there were minutes of authentic madness that sent several participants to hospital.
One in particular arrived in extremely critical conditions. Angelo Pisani in fact suffered personal injuries consisting of a facial cranial trauma, with fractures of the nasal septum bones and a contusion of the cerebral cortex. Damage that determined hospitalization from 5 to 11 November 2016 and a further disease predicted to be curable in over 40 days. For that evening, Emanuele Bondi, bartender of the defended establishment, and Giampiero Orlanducci, head of security, were acquitted.
Their lawyers Luca Bicci and Virginio Angelini of the La Spezia bar they have demonstrated their innocence of the charges. The other participants in the brawl were sentenced to 6 months with a suspended sentence. The public prosecutor had requested a sentence of 9 months for all of them.
