The XXX edition of the provincial festival “I luoghi della musica” 2024 will start on Tuesday 16 July and will end on Sunday 18 August.
The organization of the Festival was handled as always by 4 of the most significant musical associations of the Province: the musical association “Il Pianoforte” in the role of leader, the Hyperion Instrumental Group, the “Amici della Musica” Association of Sarzana and the Società dei concerti Onlus of La Spezia.
The Festival is realized with the contribution of Fondazione Carispezia within the framework of the Call for Proposals “Plural and sustainable culture”. The Festival will include 15 shows that will take place in 13 municipalities of the Province of La Spezia (Ameglia, Arcola, Bolano, Brugnato, Castelnuovo Magra, Follo, La Spezia, Monterosso al Mare, Riccò del Golfo, Riomaggiore, Santo Stefano di Magra, Sesta Godano and Vernazza).
The “Places of Music” program is now a point of reference for both the local population and tourist flows and contains, like every year, shows dedicated to various musical genres: classical, opera, ethnic, jazz, tango, folk, film music, pop, rock, music/acting and songwriting with the aim of bringing musical culture throughout the territory through a single project.
The objective is to animate and enhance small and large centers of notable beauty, proposing events of high artistic quality in towns and villages in the province of La Spezia, even those far from traditional tourist flows, creating a connection between the hinterland and the coast.
The Festival offers a vast program that will take place in suggestive locations (Squares, Castles, Churches, Courtyards, Churchyards, Gardens, Seafronts) and will be created in equal measure by established artists at a national and international level (such as the well-known actor and director Enzo Decaro , the singer-songwriter and composer Patrizia Cirulli, the K Quartet, the guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Marcello Peghin, the Se.Go.Vi.O Quartet, the singers Carlos Habiague and Biljana Stojkowska, the guitarist Claudio Piastra, the Sator Duo, the bandoneonist Fabrizio Colombo , the Trio Rewind, the violinist Manuela Matis, the harpist Floraleda Sacchi, the Abba Dream group and artists from our Ligurian territory with an intense artistic activity under their belt (the actor and director Graziano Cesarotti, the Apuano Quartet, the singer and guitarist Michele Codeglia, the singer and bassist Fabio D’Andrea, the drummer Riccardo Codeglia, the keyboardist Antonio Antognetti, the Trio Pop, the guitarist Nicola Mioli, the Ensemble Hyperion).
All this was possible thanks to the virtuous synergy of the private and public bodies that supported the Festival, such as the Carispezia Foundation, the Culture Department of the Liguria Region, the 13 Municipalities of our Province with their Pro Loco, Coop Liguria and the patronage of the Province of La Spezia.
