The fourth and final test of the Coppa Italia Speed was held on the external wall of the Up Climbing in Bologna with all the best athletes competing for a final ranking that was not entirely defined. In the men’s field, among the very strong Faenza athletes of the Centro Sportivo Esercito, Rontini and Fossali, the latter having moved to the city of Manfreda to be close to his coach Stanislao Zama, the Turin native Bulos entered the competition. However, his previous ranking did not allow him to win the Cup, which remained an internal affair for the Army athletes. The winner was the more experienced Ludovico Fossali, who only needed the lowest step of the podium of the day to keep Marco Rontini behind him, silver behind Bulos in the last stage. Also competing were the yellow and red athletes of Istrice Borghi and Ravaglia, who, despite an excellent performance, did not manage to reach the finals.

Among the women, in the Bologna challenge, Beatrice Colli from Lecco confirmed her position ahead of Giulia Randi, another pillar of the Army, stationed in Faenza. Excellent third place for Erica Piscopo of Carchidio Strocchi. The final ranking was all for Colli with Giulia Randi and Sara Strocchi behind her, fourth overall in Bologna. Slightly behind in preparation, Alice Strocchi, Erica’s partner, did not want to miss the appointment either.

The competition also included a unique youth category, dominated among the girls by Sara Strocchi of Istrice Ravenna, now more than a promise having recently also won two bronzes in the last Senior European Cup races in Austria and Germany.
