ALL THE STAGES

It starts again Tour de France. And it does it from Italy, more precisely from Florence with a long stage 206 kilometers to Rimini. A fraction in which the protagonists could immediately be the men in the standings.

The altimetry and GPM of the 1st stage

In the middle, however, a continuous up and down with many climbs, from the first to Three Beech Pass al km 12,5 all’ultima a San Marino on Mount Titano about 18 km from the finish line on the plain on the Riviera Romagnola. Between the two there are also the Colle delle Forche, the Carnaio, the Colle di Barbotto, the Colle di San Leo and the Colle di Montemaggio. These are seven second and third category GPMs, very demanding for being the start of a long stage race and with maximum gradients of 7.7%. The Grand Boucle will also pass through Ponte a Ema to pay homage to Gino Bartali. The winner of the Tour in 1938 and 1948 will be celebrated in the town of his birth, also home to the museum dedicated to him.
