Giacomo Bloise is the first purchase of the BasketBall Gallarate.

We needed a player with experience, great reliability and quality to take over from Federico De Bettin as the brains of the BBG and the cockerels did not miss the mark, bringing to the court of coach Alberto Mazzetti a player who closed the last season with more than important numbers: Averaged 13.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists.

This is the press release from the white and blue club.

BasketBall Gallarate is proud to announce the purchase of Giacomo Bloise for next season.

Playmaker born in 1990, Bloise trained at Pallacanestro Cantù, where he also made his Serie A debut. He then spent a long time wandering around Italy between Serie A2 and B, culminating in winning the A2 Italian Cup with Biella in the 2013-2014 season.

Last year, Giacomo played at Basket7Laghi Gazzada where he concluded the season with really important numbers: 13.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists on average, with which he led the yellow and blues to the Gold phase of the tournament.

Experience, leadership and quality will be the main characteristics that Bloise will bring to our team.

“I am very happy to have arrived in Gallarate – the first words from Galletto di Giacomo -. I thank the club and the coach for choosing me, I immediately found an environment well organized in every component, enthusiastic and hungry to do well. We know that the championship will not be easy at all but we are ready to fight to carve out a space for ourselves as protagonists. Few words and a lot of work must be our mantra throughout the year. I am sure that if we work with passion and intensity during the week, we will be able to achieve great satisfaction. Go Gallarate!”.

“We are very happy with Bloise’s arrival – says DS Ciardiello -. The coach pushed hard for his arrival and we are happy that we were able to please him. Giacomo is a highly experienced, competitive player, with hunger and desire to do well and these are very important characteristics for us. We were looking for a player who could also be a leader and we certainly achieved the goal with Giacomo and we are thrilled to welcome him to the BBG Family.”
