The event was born from the municipal call #LiberaCreatività
On July 5th and 6th the Historic Center of Treviso will be animated by the festival “Good Vibes: new ways of feeling good in the city”, coordinated by Youth Project of the Municipality of Treviso.
The festival was born from the municipal announcement “#LiberaCreativity”, promoted by the Department of Educational, Youth and Public Instruction Policies. Now in its eleventh edition, #LiberaCreativity has turned into one this year call for artists, involving groups of young people between 16 and 35 years old to carry out artistic, sporting and socio-cultural initiatives in Treviso. The selected groups worked side by side with the educators of the Treviso Youth Project, going through a process of co-planning and translating their ideas into a concrete, achievable and shared initiative.
This process led to the creation of festival “Good Vibes”, event that will be held on July 5th and 6th in the historic center of Treviso and which is part of the “Estate Incantata”, a summer cultural festival of the capital city.
Piazza Rinaldi, Loggia dei Cavalieri and Piazza Borsa will be transformed into stages for concerts, exhibitions, workshops and debates.
There are seven groups of young people who participated in the creation of the festival: the groups from the “Tolo Marton” rehearsal rooms of the Municipality of Treviso (Marmaglia, Deghejo, Ilaria Dens & Zuzumath), Young Quadrille who will bring nineteenth-century dances to Piazza Borsa, Omega Alpha with a mental health initiative, Dadavre Exquisitea group of very young artists and the young musicians of the Manzato Musical Association Soundscapes.
“Good Vibes” will be a celebration of urban well-being through music, art, culture and much more. This unmissable event will offer all participants the opportunity to immerse themselves for two days in a unique experience, including concerts, exhibitions, dances, food, workshops and debates, designed for anyone who wants to have fun and experience the historic center of Treviso in a completely new way.
«For the first time an activity proposed by young people is included in the rich setting of the Enchanted Summer», underlines the Councilor for Educational, Youth and Public Instruction Policies Gloria Sernagiotto. «Through the LiberaCreativity call we managed to intercept and support those budding talents capable of transmitting their passion to the community, first of all by deciding to get involved.
The Good Vibes Festival was born to celebrate music, art and culture by placing at its centre a new experience of urban well-being as perceived by those under 35. And this centre, in addition to being symbolic, is also visible, concrete: for us, young people deserve to be valued as much as possible, for this reason we wanted them in the squares and in the programme of the summer festival, so that more people can enjoy their show».

FRIDAY 5 JULY
19:00 – 24:00: Piazza Rinaldi will come alive with a series of live concerts. Four musical groups – Marmaglia, Deghejo, Ilaria Dens & Zuzumath and Soundscapes – will entertain the public with their performances. In addition to the music, there will be food trucks to delight the palates of participants, as well as stands and stalls dedicated to art, culture, social issues and music.
SATURDAY 6 JULY
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Piazza Borsa will host a performance and a workshop of 19th century dances, by the Young Quadrille group. A unique opportunity for all citizens to participate and learn the steps of the dances of the past.
6.00pm – 9.30pm: Loggia dei Cavalieri will become the nerve center of a DJ set, accompanied by art, curated by the Omega Alpha group.
9.30pm – 10.30pm: In the same location, a round table will be held on success stories and their relationship with mental health, with special guests from the world of medicine, sport, entrepreneurship and local associations .
10.30pm – 12.00am: The evening will continue with a DJ set and further live painting performances, curated by Dadavre Exquis.
