Another new fundamental piece for the roster of the 2024/2025 season arrives from Cuneo Libertas Moncalieri. We are talking about Beatrice Grossoplay-guard born in 2006 who in recent years has averaged almost 12 points in Serie B with the colors of Granda College Cuneo and several call-ups to the national teams. She grew up as a basketball player in the Cuneo area and boasts a career already full of successes, despite her very young age. In 2018 she won the Under 14 Women’s championship as captain, after having triumphed a few months earlier in the 3vs3 National Title. From then on a crescendo: numerous regional victories, the 3vs3 Under 18 championship in summer 2021, third place at the Under 17 National Finals in 2022 and a sparkling adventure in Serie B, always wearing the Granda College Cuneo jersey.
The first words of Beatrice Grosso as a Libertas Moncalieri player: «I’m very excited! I will also come to Turin for study reasons and having the opportunity to play in a championship like the A2 one is truly a dream. I’ve known Moncalieri for years, I’ve always thought it’s an excellent place to grow up and play basketball. I’m coming from some knee problems, but I’m fine now and I want to give my best. I’m here to mature, improve and also have fun on the pitch. I can not wait to start!».
