From Monday 1 July 2024 until Sunday 15 September all children aged between 14 and 29 years old, resident in the municipalities of Lazio and registered with the Lazio Youth Card, will be able to travel for free on all Cotral and Trenitalia vehicles, in second class, within the borders of the Lazio region.

Lazio in Tour Gratis 2024 will give young people under 29 the opportunity to use buses and trains for free for 30 consecutive days. We remind you that the initiative is aimed at holders of the Lazio Youth Card and is part of “the initiatives of the Lazio Region to encourage the use of regional public transport and to promote and enhance the territory through the use of regional local public transport services on the road and on the railway in second class, managed respectively by Cotral SpA and Trenitalia SpA within the territorial borders”.
How to activate Lazio in Free Tour 2024
The children will be able to travel on all Cotral and Trenitalia vehicles in the Lazio Region, but will not be able to use the service on the Leonardo Express, the Rome metro, or on buses operated by other public transport companies.
To activate ‘Lazio in Tour Gratis 2024’, kids will have to download the Lazio Youth Card app, sign up, activate the voucher valid for 30 days after activation and then show the QR code to the inspector every time they are asked.
