The boys of the children’s choir of the Pascoli Institute of Aprilia were chosen by the Ministry of Education to participate in the G7 in Trieste

The children’s choir of the Pascoli Institute in Aprilia were chosen by the Ministry of Education to participate in the G7 in Trieste. This morning the 13 selected students accompanied by Professor Rita Nuti, choir master, took the train at 9.40 sharp to head to Lignano Sabbiadoro. In fact, it will be there that the “YoungG7 for education” project will take place, an activity parallel to the G7 Education which is aimed specifically at young students for a unique and unrepeatable experience. This morning, the principal Ciro Scognamiglio, who will remain in Aprilia because he is busy attending his eighth grade exams, also greeted the kids at the station. The Aprilian students will have two important performances until June 30th, one in Abano Terme and the other in Trieste in the presence of Minister Valditara.

This year the G7 is focusing on the need to strengthen cooperation to innovate education systems, so that young people can acquire the appropriate skills for future labor markets and to support the economic and social development of the nations involved. The meeting scheduled in Trieste from 27 to 29 June, chaired by the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, wants to open a focus on the world of school.

At the basis of the G7 Education there is a vision of the school at the center of growth and common development.

In addition to the ministers of the G7 countries, the European Commissioner for Education, leaders of the African Union, representatives of the OECD, UNESCO, UNICEF are expected to attend, as well as the Ukrainian Minister of Education and his Brazilian counterpart.
