Yes, because the issue of the Menaggio Hospital with the closure of the acute care service, i.e. the Emergency Room, as a shock announcement by the Welfare Councilor of the Lombardy Region, Guido Bertolaso, became a farce in a matter of days. A badly played comedy between embarrassments and declarations, without official denials (!).
The history is enough to understand that something in the political and administrative system of most powerful region in Italy triggered an obscenely embarrassing short circuit. Since the news that generated all this is from the Como station, the director of the same rightly speaks after the statements of the Lombard president Attilio Fontana who reduced everything to “a storm in a teacup”.
As if Como television had, for fun, taken some statements and then manipulated them at will. Well, that’s not the case, all the media and local politicians know this well. And director Bambace knows this well and in a long editorial during the news this evening, 25 June, puts things in order correctly and rightly underlines: “Dear President Fontana, don’t make us look like fools”.
