PRESS NOTE CATANIA FOOTBALL CLUB
On the occasion of the matches scheduled at the “Angelo Massimino” stadium and at the Nesima municipal sports field in the 2024/2025 sports season, Catania Football Club searches and selects stewards for carrying out the control operations of access tickets and stands, of the activities necessary during the event according to the regulations in force, of verifying compliance with the regulations for the use of the facility and of managing the routing, influx and of the outflow of spectators.
The applications of those already qualified will be evaluated and at the same time, for those selected but not yet in possession of the qualification, training courses will be organized with mandatory attendance and lasting two weeks.
Interested parties, equipped with a photocopy of a valid identity document, tax code and CV, can present themselves at the “Angelo Massimino” stadium (Tribuna A entrance) Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 June, from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
Below are some of the main requirements for accessing the selectionreported in full in Annex A to the decree of the Ministry of the Interior of 13 August 2019 amending the decree of 8 August 2007, containing «Organisation and service of stewards in sports facilities» (Gu-197-20019.pdf (interno.gov. it):
– age between 18 and 60;
– Italian citizenship or citizenship of another European Union state with adequate knowledge of the Italian language or citizenship of states not belonging to the European Union or stateless persons, in possession of a regular residence permit and with adequate knowledge of the Italian language;
– good physical and mental health;
– absence of use of alcohol and drugs;
– absence of psychopathological elements, even previous ones;
– physical prowess adequate for the tasks to be carried out;
– primary school diploma;
– not have a criminal record, not be a member or have been a member of movements, associations or organized groups that incite hatred referred to in the legislative decree of 26 April 1993, n. 122, converted, with amendments, by law 25 June 1993, n. 205;
– have never been subjected to DASPO;
– ability to concentrate, self-control and contact with the public;
– ability to carry out the tasks envisaged by the decree and in particular to identify possible safety hazards also in the behavior of people present in the area of the sports facility.
Catania Football Club reserves the right to verify the full existence of the requirements set out in the aforementioned reference legislation, requesting the relevant documentation from each of the selected profiles.
