The Nerazzurri club has made official the signing of the Spanish defender, World Champion in 2023 with her national team

Be the first to lift the World Cup, fulfill a lifelong dream and become an icon of your country forever. This is the story of Ivana Andrés, the new defender of Inter Women. Hers has been a path built thanks to solid roots and ambitious wings. Work, sacrifice and tenacity are the characteristics that distinguish her.

It all started in a small Spanish village in the Valencian community, Aielo de Malferit, where she was born and raised. A community of 4,000 souls where her innate leadership found fertile ground and where she started kicking her first ball. Her dream of becoming a footballer was the leitmotif of her life from the very beginning.

After playing in Aielo de Malferit’s team in 2009, at the age of 15 she became a footballer for Valencia. These are years of personal and professional growth, of growing ambitions and unlimited dreams. She will remain for nine seasons in which she totals 247 appearances scoring seven goals. In the 2018-19 season she moved to Levante where she would play for two years before signing with Real Madrid. With the Merengues she definitively consecrates herself, becoming the captain and demonstrating all her leadership. In 4 seasons in Madrid with 137 appearances and 3 goals she became one of the essential pivots.

2023 is the best year of her career: the Spanish national team becomes world champion for the first time in its history and Ivana as captain raises the cup to the sky, sending all the Spanish people into ecstasy. It is an incredible achievement, which came after many years of training with the Spain shirt which she wore for the first time in 2015. A charismatic and winning footballer, Ivana Andrés is ready to bring all her experience to Inter too: her Nerazzurri adventure it has just begun.
