We interviewed exclusively Petitthe young man finalist of the 23rd edition of Amici. The singer, who has a past as a footballer, chose to dedicate himself completely to music after the death of his grandmother, to whom he was very close. She owes her stage name to her, which means “little” in French. He enters the famous school in September 2023, strongly desired by Rudy Zerbi and conquers everyone: from the professors to the jury to the viewers, who reward him by sending him to the final. His path, among the most followed within the program also for his relationship with the dancer and winner of the dance category Marisol Castellanos, was full of emotions and satisfaction. Among the songs presented in Maria De Filippi’s talent show we remember “Che Fai”, “Guagliò”, “Tornerai”, “MammaMì”. All present in his first self-titled EP.

You didn’t win Amici, but you won the love and respect of the public. What was the experience like? Of all the people, did you expect Sarah to win?
Amici was an incredible experience: I learned a lot, I grew up and it prepared me to face the future. I wouldn’t change anything I did. Honestly, I didn’t have any expectations and we joked about it in the house, but we never found a possible winner because in that final anyone could have won. I’m happy for Sarah because she had a beautiful journey and grew a lot.
All your former classmates have said beautiful things about you. Who did you bond with the most?
I thank them all, they are beautiful people and incredible talents. Mari was very important to me, she helped me in difficult moments. We had no expectations, everything came naturally. Excluding Mari, I bonded especially with Mida.
Now you are touring Italy to present your EP and you have also announced the dates of your first tour. Are you satisfied?
I’m very happy because until a year ago all this was a dream: the work I’ve done is paying off and now I want to enjoy it all, day after day.
Who is Petit today? If you had to describe the moment you are living with one of your songs, what would it be?
Definitely MAMMAMÌ. I am still the same as I was a year ago, with a great desire to do, to work, but always with my feet on the ground.

All three, they are incredible.
What if I tell you Sanremo 2025?
Right now I’m thinking about what’s happening to me. We’ll see, it would certainly be an honor. My secret dream is to do my own stadium tour. We are working a lot. We’ll see.
