Also this year it is back, in the summer schedules, “Agora Summer”, led by Mary Sweet. The new edition of the program started from Monday 17 June at 8.00 on Rai 3 with the mission of continuing to explore current affairs and the political debate with guests, investigations, correspondents and video contributions from social media. At the center of the concept there is information punctuated by news and focus on the main topics of the moment and of the day. For Maria Soave it is the debut at the helm of the Rai program.
Who is Maria Soave, the manager of Agorà Estate
“Agorà Estate” is a program born in 2013 and created for the summer period of Rai 3. It took the place of “Let’s start off well”, previously broadcast in the same time slot. Initially they were in charge John Antwerp e Serena Bortone. Then Bortone remained alone from 2014 to 2017. They followed Monica Giandotti, Roberto Vicaretti, Giorgia Rombolà e Lorenzo Lo Basso. From 2024 the leadership of the program will pass into the hands of Maria Soave. The journalist was born in Potenza on 18 August 1976. She declared that since she was a child she dreamed of doing television and being a journalist: she loves to make news and information clearer for the public but admits that the times and rhythms of conducting a News programs are definitely demanding and full of stress. She graduated in literature in Perugia, then she enrolled in a journalism school in Umbria with a focus on the world of radio and television. She begins to collaborate with the printed paper (from ‘The messenger’ a ‘The sun 24 hours‘) starting from 2003. Subsequently, he became a face of Tg3 and then moved to Tg1 to host the 1.30 pm edition. In June 2022, another important chapter opens for her. Alongside Massimiliano Ossini he is at the helm of “Unomattina Summer”. Until 2024 when, as already mentioned, he abandons his commitments at Tg1 to launch into a new adventure at the helm of the Rai 3 program “Agorà Estate”. Speaking about his new commitment and the impact he intends to give, Soave is clear: “I want to give concrete answers to the problems of the economy, work and housing. It will be a program very focused on real issues. I don’t like flights of fancy, I would like clear answers from politicians to solve problems”. There will be no shortage of columns and spaces with specific themes, such as that on gender violence and security”. It will also be an opportunity to experiment in view of the arrival of autumn and a new television season, without forgetting the morning audience to which “Agorà Estate” is aimed. Maria Soave is very careful to preserve her private sphere and, despite a carefully updated Instagram profile, little information is available about her personal life. She has a sister named Paola with whom she has a beautiful and intense relationship. From the little information shared, it seems she has a son, Alessandro, born in 2006. The name of her partner (or husband) is unknown and on social media – where she has over 13,000 followers – she currently maintains a private and closed profile.
