PESARO – The visit to the Miralfiore park to bring citizens to the drug dealing site and open their eyes. This is the aim of the Campaign “PrevAction – A Punch on Drugs”.
A sort of via crucis scheduled for June 30th at 5.30pm with someone who has been in the vortex of consumption, Alessandro Giardini.
The 44-year-old will tell his story to anyone who wants to listen to him, showing “live” stages and places of the impressive “via crucis” that he walked every time his body and soul “demanded”, without mercy and without escape, a new dose amazing. A life experience lived, going from a normal boy to a drug addict with no future, up to recovery and current employmentwhen he meets and deals with people less fortunate than him every day.
«A devastating period in my life brought me very close to death from an overdose – comments Giardini – which I miraculously avoided it when the ambulance staff, called by a friend of mine who was addicted to drugs like me and ran away immediately afterwards, literally grabbed me by the hair with a desperate intervention on the spot. I was born to my parents, I almost died from drugs, I was reborn thanks to the ambulance first and the doctors in the hospital later. In practice I was born twice, on the second occasion I decided to help others like I was before.”

First step: agitation, anxiety, increasing withdrawal. Continuous fear of being discovered by the police.
Second stage: negotiation on the price (you can easily find the seller, because he is good at recognizing you anyway), payment of the dose, appointment for delivery.
Third stage: withdrawal of the dose, already paid in advance, with the fear that the seller has instead run away with your money. Urgent desire to inject the drug into your vein.
Fourth stage: hidden in the undergrowth (which was once very dense and impenetrable), injection, overdose, entry into a coma, rescue at the last minute, hospitalization, detoxification, start of a new life.
Fifth stage: final comments, sitting at the Utopia bar, ready to answer questions.
All this will happen on Sunday 30 June 2024, starting from 5.30 pm, with an initial appointment at the pedestrian gate of Miralfiore Park.
At this event on Sunday 30 June, which enjoys the “blessing” ofArchbishop of Pesaro Monsignor Sandro Salvucci, all groups are invited Scouts of Pesaro (Agesci, CNGEI, FSE), but the meeting is open to anyone who wishes to participate.
