Exciting moments, an unforgettable day. Mayor Gennaro Caserta, elected by the people of Teverola at the head of their majority in the last local elections, took the oath of office in a packed council chamber. Not without emotion, the mayor underlined that the Authority is “already working on the Urban Park, Cemetery, former GeoEco and historic center, works that will start within 100 days as we promised in the election campaign. Teverola must be an increasingly welcoming city, with an efficient administrative machine that knows how to give the right answers to everyone, from young to old. We will support volunteering and local associations, the backbone of our community. I will be everyone’s mayor, the aim is to convince even those who did not choose Teverola Futura at the polls. We will work tirelessly, in the sole interest of our city.”
During the installation municipal council, Sara Pellegrino was chosen – with 12 preferences – as president of the Assizes: “A role of great responsibility – said Pellegrino -, I will protect and guarantee the rights and functions of all the municipal councillors”. Instead, Francesca Simonelli was chosen as vice president.
The council was also presented with “the delegations that will be conferred this week”, said the mayor of Caserta.
In the Municipal Electoral Commission, Ellen Di Martino and Maria Domenica Tirozzi were nominated for the majority, Antonio Omar Menale for the opposition (substitutes Orabona, Simonelli and Buonpane).
In the Commission for the formation of the municipal lists of the popular judges Simonelli and Tirozzi for the majority.
In the permanent council commission for control and guarantee, Pasquale De Floris, Luciano Orabona and Ellen Di Martino for the majority, Dario Di Matteo and Alfonso Fattore for the opposition.
