ROVIGO • Michele Bravi opens the 25th edition of Tra ville e giardini, with a concert that anticipates the tour of the new album. The event arrives for the first time at the two medieval towers. Guided tour by reservation.

In this first meeting of the 17 on the calendar, the Municipality of Rovigo bets on the iconographic image par excellence of its skyline with all the evocative power of history: the two medieval towers, which for the first time become protagonists in the list of locations to visit of Between villas and gardens 25.

In fact, the concert public has the opportunity of a breathtaking guided tour of the Donà Tower, which at 51 meters is the highest in Italy. Entrance has a special ticket of 5 euros and will take place in two shifts of a maximum of 15 people each, at 7pm and 8pm, and will last 45 minutes.

Given the exceptional nature of the opening, reservations are highly recommended at 389 1745766.

The two towers Donà and Mozza Grimani are the most ancient and precious vestiges of the past of the capital of Polesine: the remains of a medieval castle commissioned in 920 by the Bishop of Adria. They are the urban roots of the city, which recall what has been and trace what it will become. This is true not only for buildings, but also for people. Only a journey into the past, into experiences and feelings can establish the stability of self-awareness.

For Michele Bravi, music is one of the means (alongside writing, cinema, podcasts) to give voice to one’s poetic sensitivity, to tell and tell oneself, to dig deep and heal from the pain of the most traumatic experiences. And so, whoever listens to him. The Umbrian singer-songwriter was born musically with the victory at the talent X-factor 2013, followed by successful EPs and important collaborations; various passages in Sanremo consecrate him to the general public (in 2017, fourth with “Il diario degli ordini”; in 2018 in duet with Annalisa and in 2022 tenth, with “Inverno dei fiore”), and, after these first ten years of career, there are four studio albums to testify to a highly respectable creative continuity. The fourth album was published just last April 12th, “Tu cosa vedo Quando chiudi gliocchi” (2024, Emi records Italy/Universal music group), followed in May by two presentations in Milan and Rome, and by the next tour that will start in September in the most beautiful Italian theatres. But before this, Michele Bravi stops at Tra ville e giardini to let himself go in an intimate and sweet concert, with all the successful songs of his career. Electropop ballades and hip hop rhythms are the stylistic features of the singer-songwriter, but the real difference is the timbre of his voice. A particular clear, recognizable intonation dresses the poetry of the writing in a refined and authentic way, away from clichés, even when he talks about love, in all its nuances.
