LA SPEZIA – The first edition of “A Bridge To Africa”, an international forum dedicated to Italy-Africa relations between maritime logistics, trade and investments, will be held on 14 and 15 November in La Spezia.

The forum is promoted and organized by the Propeller Ports of La Spezia and Marina di Carrara and by ClickutilityTeam and will develop over two days of conferences and networking events with a significant presence of stakeholders from the sector and industries from Morocco, Egypt, Algeria , Tunisia and of course Italy.

While many African countries have already started an industrial process and others are starting it, the 37 countries are an opportunity for the Italian system, our industry, our logistics and our ports.

The challenge is to grow through a sustainable economic plan integrated with the traditional activities of the continent, primarily with agriculture and the extraction of raw materials. Although industrialization still occurs patchily, the prospects are more than encouraging. From this perspective, Italy, thanks to the Mattei Plan, is trying to strengthen its position in this market. It’s not just about transporting goods and passengers, but about creating relationships from which the exchange of services, skills and growth opportunities can arise.
