Object: Request for Papanice water problem meeting with delegation of the Committee for the defense of citizens’ rights of Papanice
As president of the committee in question, HE the Prefect of the city of Crotone, Dr. Franca Ferraro, is asked to accept the request to convene a delegation from the above committee, as the situation that is being created in the Papanicese community it has become unsustainable.
We state that we are only in the first days of heat, we state that the population present has not increased in number, we justify any type of intervention on the water network, but the havoc that is being perpetrated in the name and on the backs of the citizens of Papanicesi is no longer tolerable. The water shortage that is currently occurring and without justifications, other than those told and scrambled by those who find themselves answering the phone.
Excellency, the paradox is even more absurd, water is systematically lacking only in Papanice, where unfortunately the poor people do not have a so-called storage tank, where the costs for electricity also increase due to the continuous use of the autoclave, inconvenience and further inconveniences, which affect those families with the presence of elderly people, children and people with disabilities.
What we ask you is to listen, in order to establish a dialogue aimed at finding a solution that can alleviate the discomfort of a large portion of the population living in the neighborhood/town of Papanice.
