Following the outcry caused by the images, the owners of the restaurant decided to respond with a press release which we report below: «Given the media outcry caused by the viral video that is circulating on the web depicting “obscene acts” carried out by a couple in the external area of our restaurant, we believe it is necessary to make some clarifications. First of all, we censure the very serious behavior achieved by the couple in question and dissociate ourselves from this serious act. We would also like to point out that the episode occurred at dawn, when our business was closed. The couple, in fact, entered our location illegally and in defiance of the entry bans on our premises. All of this was outside the range of our alarm systems, the same goes for the surveillance system which was unable to capture the event as the couple was outside the surveillance perimeter. In any case, we reserve the right to report the incident to the competent authorities. We are truly outraged by the incident which damages the image of our restaurant and we would like to apologize to our wonderful customers for this unpleasant episode which has nothing to do with the principles of healthy fun and sharing that inspire our business.
