Irene Durbano was born in Savigliano in 1982. She lives and works in Cuneo where she has an office in via Carlo Boggio.
She attended the Amleto Bertoni Art Institute in Saluzzo, where she developed her artistic predisposition, while in the following years she also approached the wooden restoration of statues and gilding, working at the Bottega Audisio in Cuneo. Always looking for a more complete artistic education, she worked in the laboratory Jellyfish in Saluzzo, where luminous statues are created in recycled glass. She ran the stationery shop with her twin sister for six years Ivy of Centallo, but then, having become a mother, she decided to sell it to dedicate herself to her family and her passion for art. She began to exhibit in public, as an artist, in August 2010, participating in the Grande Fiera d’Estate di Cuneo and, given her great success, she decided to persevere in her artistic career. She has exhibited her works in some prestigious design shops, including Serene design of Cuneo and Tomatis Arredamenti of Mondovì. Also in 2010, he beautified the residential entrance of the new Palazzo Fiamma of Cuneo with a large mural, creating a completely original redevelopment work. In 2012 he lent ten of his works to embellish some scenes of the television series A doctor in the family 8, broadcast in 2013 in prime time on Rai 1. His abstract and modern paintings, also suitable for accompanying innovative interior design projects, allow his sensitivity and positive energy to shine through. The gestures of his brushstrokes are confident and elegant at the same time. Durbano knows how to deal with different techniques, including material and bas-relief, using natural colors and resins and acrylic colours, managing to obtain effective and engaging pictorial results.
