Fantoni, 13 million order for the Piedmont Region

There is not only the core panel business behind the brilliant 2023 financial statements of the Fantoni group, which closed with 423 million in turnover and an Ebitda margin of 18%. The office furniture sector is also driving sales, having acquired orders worth 46 million in the last financial year. A result to which the recently completed supply of 1,400 workstations for the new headquarters of the Piedmont Region in Turin, designed by the star architect Massimiliano Fuksas, made a good contribution, one of the most valuable investments in the institutional and management field made in our country for many years now.

Acquired in 2018, therefore also going through the years of the pandemic, the order has a total value of 13 million and involved the supply, by the Osoppo company, of furnishings and phone booths (these are glass booths made to create closed and acoustically isolated spaces within large, largely customized open-plan offices, in the 80 thousand square meters of the new tower, in which all the offices so far scattered in the Piedmontese capital have been concentrated. The installation of the furnishings took place in several phases and covered 37 floors above ground, as well as other special areas and some furnishings on the two underground floors.

«The new headquarters of the Piedmont Region – comments Alessandro Fantoni, commercial director of Fantoni – represents a project of enormous dimensions, in terms of architecture, organizational complexity, construction times, companies involved and number and type of users. We are satisfied and proud to have been “protagonists” in one of the most important investments in office real estate made in Italy in the last fifteen years.”

A supply that is relevant from a quantitative point of view, but also from a qualitative point of view, because it is characterized by the latest generation, “intelligent” workstations, located in working environments designed to offer, also through a strong use of digital, high levels of comfort and perfect acoustic management. «In addition to guaranteeing a greater quality of life during working hours for thousands of employees – continues Alessandro Fantoni – the solutions we have devised also allow us to introduce new organizational and operational models, necessary to make the public administration more efficient in the interests of citizens”.

To complete the order, we read in a note from the group, «the Fantoni team worked closely with the Financial Resources and Heritage Directorate of the Piedmont Region, represented by the architect Francesca Tangi, with the Rup engineer Anna Maria Facipieri and with the GTP architecture studio, directed by architect Michele Aruanno.
