«For the first time we have equipped our Dolmen La Chianca with video surveillance to prevent vandalism, thus preserving one of the most important and representative archaeological monuments of the City in Italy and in the world».

Thus the Mayor of Bisceglie Angelantonio Angarano.

«The camera – writes the First Citizen – is part of the two ministerial loans, for an amount of over 300 thousand euros, which have allowed us to install 36 new cameras, of which 16 equipped with sensors for the automated reading of license plates, in different areas of the City , for example, as already documented, in the 167 district, in the multifunctional area of via San Martino, along the entry and exit roads of Bisceglie, near school buildings and in artisan areas.

Among these, recently, the video cameras on Via Sant’Andrea have also come into operation.

We have more than tripled video surveillance to support the police in protecting and controlling the territory, a concrete and tangible commitment to safety.”
