First the announcement of his contractual termination, then the official farewell to Venezia. Paolo Vanoli he is ready to become the new coach of Torino, but in the meantime he has dedicated a thought to his former team, following their promotion to Serie A.
“In this year and a half I have experienced and shared with all of you lovers of Venezia, intense emotions, joys and sorrows, victories and defeats. I have seen your passion, your unconditional support and your dedication to the orange-green shirt, which have allowed me to grow and improve as a coach and as a man.
I want to sincerely thank my players, who demonstrated commitment, sacrifice and professionalism in every match, reaching unthinkable goals and giving us moments of joy and pride.
Thanks also to the President and the managers, who believed in me and gave me the opportunity to coach this club. A heartfelt thank you also to the staff and employees of the club, who have always been by my side.
Finally, a special place goes to you, wonderful fans, who raised me when I was a player and supported me in this unforgettable achievement as a coach. You supported us with your cheering and your affection. You have been the driving force and beating heart of this incredible adventure, and without you we would never have gotten this far.
