Seven fans from Puglia accused of throwing smoke bombs and bottles at the ‘E’ stadium. Scida’ during the Crotone-Taranto football match

During the football match between Crotone and Taranto, which took place on 18 February 2024 at the “E. Scida” of Crotone, seven fans from Puglia were affected by Daspo measures. The Crotone Police Commissioner issued these measures following behavior deemed non-compliant during the match valid for the Lega Pro-Girone C championship.

The fans, positioned in the section dedicated to away fans and in the car park reserved for them, were identified for having lit and thrown smoke bombs and water bottles, as well as attempts to overcome the glass balustrade that separates the away sector from the pitch .

The investigations conducted by the local DIGOS, supported by the images of the stadium’s video surveillance system processed by the Scientific Police, made it possible to clearly identify those responsible for these actions. The seven individuals were reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Crotone for the necessary legal action.

The DASPO measure adopted for each of them was established for a period of 1 year, without further specific requirements.
