PERUGIA – Incentives and bureaucratic simplifications that will make new investments and the arrival of new industrial settlements easier. This is what will allow the national government to implement the amendment, put forward by Umbria and Marche and already accepted at the State-Regions Conference last Friday, which allows the establishment of Simplified Logistics Zones (ZLS) on its territory. .

This is an evolution of the SEZ to which Umbria has long aspired, which allows it to enjoy tax incentives and authorization simplifications for business operations, i.e. the creation of favorable conditions in economic, financial and administrative terms, for allow the development of new investments.
Among the most important simplification measures is the single authorization for the establishment of industrial, productive and logistical activities within the ZLS, not subject to certified reporting of the start of activity.
Satisfaction was expressed by the President of the Region Donatella Tesei: «The provision leads to the achievement of what was one of the objectives of the regional government mandate. We also worked with determination at the Conference of the Regions to achieve an extremely important result for our region.”
Now Umbria, not having any port area in its territory, as foreseen by the provision, will submit a request together with the Marche to establish the Simplified Logistics Zone.
