The club’s statement follows: “The Potenza Calcio club announces that it has entrusted the sporting direction of the first team to Enzo De Vito.
Born in Capriglia Irpina in 1974, De Vito began his managerial career at Aversa Normanna, where he held the role of sporting director from 2008 to 2011. Subsequently, he held the same role at US Avellino from 2011 to 2018. With Avellino, De Vito achieved a historic promotion to Serie B in the 2012-2013 season, then leading the team for five consecutive seasons in the cadet series.
After his experience at Avellino, De Vito worked as head of scouting at Parma from 2018 to 2020 and at Genoa from August to November 2020, in the Serie A championship. In 2021 he worked at Arezzo, where he was first director technician and then general manager. In 2022 he returned to Avellino as sporting director, a position he held until June 2023.
