For years Lapressa.it has offered free and independent information to its readers without any type of public contribution. Private advertising covers part of the costs, but it is not sufficient. For this reason we ask those who read us and follow us every day to give us, if they wish, a contribution based on their possibilities. Before the elections, in the session of 8 March, the municipal council of the then mayor Giancarlo Muzzarelli had approved the project for the adaptation works of the water and electricity system of the micro-area of via R. Django, in Modena, for a total amount 118,000 euros divided as follows. Significant allocation to guarantee the renovation of the water and electrical systems in the area. One of the most important, also in terms of size, present in Modena. The nomad area, owned by the Municipality, was created in 2007 together with another, following the dismantling of the only nomad camp present in Modena in via Bacelliera. It includes an area of 9495 square meters and hosts 54 residents divided into 14 families of Italian citizenship.
After years in which it was the municipality that paid for electricity and water users, the Administration remained the guarantor but initiated a process of accountability and obligation with respect to the accounting of electricity paid by families.
Problems remained for accounting and payment in the supply of drinking water.
With a resolution dated 12 June, the Municipality, on the basis of the March resolution, proceeds with the implementation of the works through the assignment, without tender, to a specialized company from Bologna for an expected cost of 118,000 euros divided as follows
1) €114,500.00; amount of works based on contract;
2) €34,200.00 labor costs, not subject to reduction;
3) €3,500.00: security costs not subject to reduction (specific charges due to the company for the adaptation of the Security Plan Legislative Decree 81/2008)
