GROSSETO. “When dreams come true they become reality”. This is the “fairytale”, or rather, the dream that comes true for Roberto Martellini, a young Maremma entrepreneur who owns the Barracuda Cafè in via Monte Rosa in Grosseto. The Grosseto company, in fact, will be present with a lounge bar in the hospitality area made available by Snipers, in the 12 European MotoGP grand prix, to promote products from our territory.

From this year on the MotoGp world circuit there will also be a company from Grosseto: the “Barracuda Cafè”, which has always been very close to the world of sport.

And so, through Martellini, Maremma will also be present in the paddocks of the MotoGp circuit, to promote the agri-food products and more of Maremma and Tuscany. The great passion for this sport, cultivated since childhood, combined with the desire to emerge and the entrepreneurial intuition of Roberto Martellini then did the rest, as he himself states: «Dreams sometimes come true», and so in the end everything finally came true. «I jumped at the chance – says Roberto Martellini – to work together with the Snipers of Pesaro of the Cecchini family, a well-tested team that has been present on the world circuit for many years, and that this season will also compete in the Moto3 category of the MotoGp championship with its own riders. We started – explains Martellini – last March 22 with the Portuguese GP held at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, and then continued from April 26-28 with the Spanish GP at the Jerez circuit. Then we were in France, in Le Mans from May 10th to 12th and then back in Spain, in Barcelona, in the Catalunya Grand Prix. Then the Italian stage, at the Mugello racetrack from May 31st to June 1st, where I was present with my whole family. For this 2024/25 edition we will be present in all the European stages of the MotoGP».

And «now – he continues – the other European stages of the circuit await us: in total there will be 12 for us, all those that will take place in Europe, out of the 23 total scheduled for MotoGp. For now we will stop at the European ones, leaving aside the world ones. The next appointment will be in a few days in Assen in Holland from today to June 30th. Then, to follow, in July in Germany, in August in Austria and in September again in Italy with the MotoGp of San Marino. In these last two I will also be physically present again. Finally, after the other extra-European stages in November we will return to Spain, in the last stage of the circuit in Valencia. So, a real tour de force for me and my collaborators, but at the same time very exciting. A different way of being in contact with the champions of this important sporting discipline».

In practice, during the MotoGP, explains Martellini, Barracuda Cafè is present in the Snipers hospitality area. «For now – he explains – we are supported by the following companies: “Quadalti agricultural company”; “Montecchi Beverage Grosseto”; “Ancient flavors of Maremma”; “Mr. Beans, a new way of eating legumes”; “Banfi”; “Benini food distribution”; “Pasta makers in Maremma, but the idea is to increase the range of offerings, so as to make other brands and products from the Maremma known. It is a sporting-entrepreneurial project – concludes Martellini – which began this year. The idea, having made this experience, is not to stop here, but to develop this project also for the future, trying to involve other companies and entrepreneurs in the area to give visibility and promotion of the products of the Maremma and Tuscany in Europe and in the World. The latter is a combination of sport and local entrepreneurship, which in my opinion, if exploited and channeled properly, could become a truly winning weapon for the whole of Maremma.”
