They were published the first three calls for them assignments from the free areas of the state property maritime by the Municipality of Lecce. These are lots that the administration had already indicated, in addition to the already existing concessions extended, in a technical manner, until the end of the current year and which do not concern the installation of new establishments but exclusively recreational and sporting activities.

The areas identified are those of Rinalda Tower And Monte Grappa for the installation of kiosks equipped for catering and the administration of drinks, pre-cooked foods and monopoly products, while San Cataldo, in addition to the kiosk, structures can also be created to carry out sporting activities, such as SUP, kite and surfing. The duration of the concession to be assigned is set at ten years starting from the date of issue, expiring on 31 December of the last year.
Those who intend to participate in the selection procedure for the release of the concession of the maritime state-owned areas put up for tender must send the application to the protocol office of the Municipality of Lecce no later than 12pm on July 22nd.

For San Cataldo the administration has made lot number 39 available next to the area where other bathing establishments already exist. The assignment of the state concession has the aim of encouraging the development of sports tourism services in the name of eco-environmental sustainability. For this lot, amateur sports companies and associations, exclusively non-profit, operating in the sector of nautical sports activities, affiliated with a national sports federation or a sports promotion body and who have of the requirement of registration in the National Register of Amateur Sports Activities of the Department for Sport, in the exclusive context of nautical sports disciplines. Participation in the tender is not permitted if the applicant already holds a state maritime concession in the territory of the Municipality of Lecce.

The necessary documentation

Among the documents required for all three lots, a 1:200 scale plan will be needed with the products to be installed, their intended use, connections with the service networks and accessibility to the state-owned area. A management plan must also be attached containing the description of the guaranteed services, the indication of the specific activities offered (including additional or complementary ones), the methods of implementation, the pricing, the company organization chart and the employment plan and the specific description of activities aimed at protecting the environment and promoting the territory. In addition, there must be an economic-financial plan that specifies the investments, costs and revenues estimated for the entire duration of the concession in relation to the activities indicated in the management plan.
This completes the process started by the Salvemini council which in the past months had proceeded on two fronts: the first was the identification of the areas to be put up for tender on the relevant coastline, the second was the technical extension based on the rulings of the Council of He intervened precisely to evaluate some appeals proposed by dealers from Lecce. In practice, in this way the Municipality has secured the current concessions, as explained in the extension resolution, given that after 31 December 2023 the crime of illegal occupation of maritime state property could have been committed.
