The proceeds from the book will be donated by the author to the oncology department of the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Crotone
The presentation of the latest book by the writer from Lamezia Igor Colombo, “Sarà l’aurora – my fight against cancer” published by Grafichéditore, is scheduled for next Thursday, June 20th at 5.30 pm at the Casa della Cultura in Crotone .
The event, as explained in a note sent to the press by the Municipality of Crotone, Department of Culture, is part of the “Summer Authors” cultural event which takes place annually as a fixed appointment in the Pythagorean city.
This year the event will be inaugurated by Igor Colombo’s book, which will tell the city of Crotone about his experience of fighting this nasty disease that struck him.
Speakers at the event who will support the author from Lamezia will be the mayor of the city of Crotone, engineer Vincenzo Voce, the political activist Paola Turturo, Dr. Tullia Plantera, acting head of oncology, Giovanni Marsala, president of the “Vivere Smiling” association.
The press officer of the Municipality of Crotone, Dr., will moderate everything. Francesco Vignis.
As happened in Lamezia Terme, the proceeds from the book will be donated by the author to the oncology department of the San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Crotone.
