And Rainbow in summer it is. The curtain officially rises tomorrow on the 12th edition of the event promoted by the Tuscany Region together with La Nazione with the support of Toscana Promozione Turistica, Fondazione Sistema Toscana and Vetrina Toscana and with the participation of trade associations to welcome the start of the tourist season . The program (19-25 June) opens tomorrow in Florence with the toast organized by Confcommercio Firenze-Arezzo on the panoramic terrace of the Leggenda dei Frati with guests and authorities (by invitation). It continues with the Music Festival in Pistoia from 20 to 23 June promoted by the Municipality (free entry concerts) and Tramonti di Vini: the flavors of Montalbano on 21 and 22 June in Artimino (Prato) promoted by the Municipality and the Pro Loco of Carmignano in collaboration with Confcommercio.
Saturday 22nd at 7.30pm in Vallombrosa concert by the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra with maestro Giacomo Loprieno for a tribute to Ennio Morricone (organised by Toscana Promozione Turistica, free entry); same date for the Black Night in Peccioli with music and street artists (organised by Confcommercio Provincia di Pisa with the patronage of the Municipality of Peccioli, the collaboration of CollEventi and the participation of the Chamber of Commerce of North West Tuscany-Terre di Pisa). Also on the 22nd at 6pm in Lucca, meeting at the Giglio theater on Giacomo Puccini on the centenary of the composer’s death, followed by a concert of Puccinian arias and toasts. Again on the 22nd in Ponte Buggianese Ponte in Festa: Concerto Pianeta Zero (evening dedicated to the music of Renato Zero) and to follow on the 23rd June Televisium Gran Varietà (show with entertainment with dancers, actors and singers): two events promoted by the Municipality, Confesercenti and Natural shopping center. We continue on June 23rd in Pisa with the traditional dinner on the Ponte di Mezzo (promoted by Confcommercio and Confristoranti) while on the 25th in Arezzo there will be a journey of taste and guided tours of the Medici Fortress with a summer aperitif (organized by Confcommercio Florence-Arezzo). And on Tuesday 25th at 5.30pm in Alberese (Grosseto) guided excursion in the Maremma Park with tasting together with Confagricoltura.
If the program is continuously updated on the visittuscany.com website, on which organizations and operators can insert their proposals, two tasty previews of Arcobaleno d’estate should be highlighted: namely La Toscana in Bocca (7-8 June in Prato by Confcommercio) and the City of Viareggio Dance Festival promoted by the Municipality of Viareggio, which ended on 15 June.
