preparing for the ZTL, clarifications from the Mobility Councillor –

Ragusa – Ragusa Marina is preparing for the Limited Traffic Zone.

In the seaside district of the capital, in fact, work is underway to install license plate reading cameras in preparation for the limited traffic zone.

In this regard the councilor for Mobility of the municipality of Ragusa, John Gurrieri he would like to make some clarifications.

“As per the plan – he declares Gurriers – the installation of license plate reading cameras is underway Ragusa Marina, preparatory to the activation of the ztl with electronic gates. In this regard, I would like to clarify some points, in order to avoid the birth of unfounded rumours. The access control system via cameras – explains the councilor – is not currently active. Installing cameras does not mean adopting new rules, but preparing to replace the usual barriers with a more efficient and better manageable control system. The new ztl of Marina will be adopted upon completion of the installations and exclusively on an experimental basis so as to test the system. The experimental activation of the new ztl will be widely communicated in good time through the official municipal channels. The new ztl will not overturn traditional habits and rules, but will be gradually modulated, in agreement with all the parties involved, to be almost “sewn on” to the different needs of Marina”.
