Valeria takes us to explore a world made of images of newborns, a beautiful world, which inspires great tenderness but is a harbinger of messages of great hope, because there is nothing more beautiful than a new creature that appears with an absorbed and dreamy expression on the stage of life.”.
Hi, I’m Valeria YURLOVICH!
I am a professional photographer and owner of Studio Fotograf-FY in Alessandria.
Since I was a child I got used to looking at the world through the camera lens and looking for “the best shot” even when I somehow found myself without my Nikon in my hands. Most of you know me as a photographer of newborns, children and expectant mothers.
They say if you want the stars you have to aim for the moon… and then they say if “you can dream it, you can do it”…
In each of us and in every little creature there are so many great things. We are all capable of becoming Someone when we grow up, of reaching great goals and realizing wonderful objectives… we just have to believe and never stop dreaming.
“Dream Big” is an exhibition of Newborn photographs, that is, photos of newborns, the little creatures that are photographed in the very first days after birth (5-15 days of life) and usually while they sleep… who knows if they are already dreaming? And if so – who knows what they see in their sleep… they will have their imaginary paths…
They dream now and in a moment they grow and become great, and we dream of our great goals looking at these little wonders that sleep. Who knows what comes to mind?
Because if we are capable of dreaming – we are also capable of doing!
And I dream that this exhibition is not a destination but only a small stage on the path of a long journey.
