It will be a summer of “soundscapes” with shows immersed in nature, among mountains, villages and unusual corners. With an overwhelming program featuring over 40 events in 20 municipalities, “Suoni Controvento” returns for the eighth edition: it is the summer festival of performing arts that Aucma, the Umbrian association of song and author’s music, has been staging since 9 July to 8 September to enhance “the green heart of Italy in all its beauty”.

The offer. The 2024 programme, presented yesterday at Palazzo Donini, unfolds between music with concerts at high altitude, in the valley, inside and outside the most characteristic villages of the region, and then theatre, dance (big news), gaming with role-playing games, workshops for children, literary walks with “Books on the Way” and “evening discoveries in Umbria” with routes immersed in uncontaminated nature. All along the common thread of respect for the environment, sustainability, collaborations and synergies, as underlined by Aucma president Lucia Fiumi. “The network of municipalities involved – she says – continues to grow, ours is truly a regional festival”. An aspect on which the president of the Region, Donatella Tesei, is also focusing with councilor Morroni. “An extraordinary event that reflects the true spirit of Umbria, a guarantee of quality, sustainability and promotion of wonderful places”.
