Arena against Gabbianelli: “Frontini is a disaster”

“I was stunned reading the statements in the newspaper of the former mayor Gabbianelli, of whom I was deputy, who hopes for another twenty years of mayors like Chiara Frontini. In this case all the people of Viterbo should go, as happened in May 1320, to the church of the Trinity to free Viterbo from the unfortunate period it was experiencing”.

Mayor who, Arena notes, “managed in a short time to make the people of Viterbo hate her thanks to her arrogant way of behaving, taking it out on everyone, without making a minimum of self-criticism, placing herself on a pedestal, even issuing sentences against her own employees (material human being to throw away) and creating disorientation and insecurity among citizens, many of whom admit that two years ago they made the biggest mistake of their lives in voting for it”.

Arena gives some examples

But it doesn’t end here: “Some examples of bad governance: eco-centre for bulky waste, financed by my administration – explains Arena – still inexplicably closed; Rocchi stadium abandoned to itself; ecological islands left long ago in the open countryside; former affiliated nursery schools at risk of closure; and renounces the construction of the basement car park at the Shrine”.

“Increasingly chaotic traffic”

“Two more words – notes the former mayor – the increasingly chaotic traffic issue deserves. The simplest thing would have been to make via Garbini one-way going down and Cassia Nord going up, using via Villanova, via Tuscia and the respective roundabouts Ipercoop (beginning) and the former Leclerc (end) with as many as four possibilities to reverse it travels in just over a kilometre, that is, one every three hundred metres. Furthermore, both streets, Cassia Nord and via Garbini, have entrance and exit on the ring road. The choice was instead to overpay experts who are experimenting with solutions that penalize Villanova traders in particular.”
