The youth consultation consults in the Municipality. The young people were invited in recent days to the social commission chaired by Guido Bianchini for a discussion on the work carried out by the consultancy itself almost a year after its formation and to talk about the next objectives, including the birth of a commercial district between art, music and entertainment. “I thank Guido Bianchini and the commission – explains the president of the youth consultancy, Lorenzo Borghini – who listened to us and provided observations which we will treasure. I reported on the organization and the initiatives carried out in the area: Carrara plastic challenge, the contribution to the ‘Mediterraneo’ participatory path, listening initiatives in schools and the events of 31 October and 13 April which will be followed in August by ‘Carrara district Market’ with the birth of a commercial district in the center surrounded by art, music and cultural shows”. “The consultancy also takes care of its young people through motions – continues Borghini – which I will present in the annual report. We discussed Career Alias, accessible tourism, young volunteers, historical and cultural debates, the European vote and conferences. Finally we talked about the commitment of the consultancy against gender violence, the collaboration with bodies of excellence such as the anti-violence center of Carrara and the local realities with which we have worked this year.
