“Via dell’Artigianato flooded… where are the municipal administration technicians?”

The voice of Mrs. Maria and Mr. Mario – Viterbo – Report by Rosalia Giallonardo.

Viterbo – We receive and publish – Thursday 13 June, at 3.20 pm I was preparing to return home and walked along Via dell’Artigianato, the road that leads from the Poggino artisan area to the Teverina.

After the roundabout, having reached the top of the slope of the bridge that leads to the Michelini nursery, I found myself faced with yet another flood and the scene of a lady whose car was stuck in 50 cm of water and who was looking for help to carry the car out of the water.

Extraordinary atmospheric events have nothing to do with it. There are no drains and if there are they are not cleaned or have never been able to drain the water. Furthermore, the bridge has no signs warning of the danger of flooding which would allow motorists to understand that what they are crossing is not a harmless puddle but a 50cm deep lake.

So I ask where are the municipal administration technicians? Do they only do sidewalks and flowerbeds?
